Pat is a freelance journalist whose work has appeared in several newspapers and magazines, including The St. Petersburg Times and The New York Times Magazine. He’s also done reporting for national magazines like Rolling Stone, AARP The Magazine, Glamour, Prevention and Columbia Journalism Review.
Pat recently spent a year on a fellowship at The Poynter Institute for Media Studies, writing, editing and planning a redesign for Poynter Online. He also took classes there. Pat now lives in Memphis, where he is working on an MFA in creative nonfiction writing.
